Runner-up behind teammate Marissa Daniels at the Islander Splash in Corpus Christi, helping lead Rice past Texas... 3rd at the Rice Invitational and 22nd at the C-USA meet... Recipient of the C-USA 2006-07 Scholar Athlete of the Year Award... Joyce Pounds Hardy award winner as Rice's top female student-athlete.

Personal - Full Name: Callie Wren Wells. Born: May 14, 1986, in Roseburg, Ore. Parents: Jeff and Gayle Wells of The Woodlands (one sister, one brother). Father was a three-time all-America in track for Rice and still holds the Owls' record in the 10,000.
