Megan Murphy was named C-USA Setter of the Year on Wednesday, the league announced. Murphy becomes only the second Rice player to win the award.

She leads C-USA in assists and ranks 33rd in the NCAA. She posted a triple double at UAB, and ranks 10th in C-USA in hitting percentage.
Murphy posted 30 or more assists in every C-USA match, including 10 40+ assist efforts.
She averaged 11.11 assists per set over the course of the season, hit .293 and averaged 2.48 digs per set. The redshirt junior from Duncan College has started every game and has not come off the floor this season.
