News & Notes
*The Rice Owls return to Tudor Fieldhouse this weekend for their final two-match homestand of the C-USA season, beginning Friday at 6 p.m. vs. North Texas in the annual Dig Pink match. Following North Texas, the Owls will host Charlotte at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

*The Owls are 9-4 all-time vs. the Mean Green and a perfect 3-0 against the 49ers.  

*Rice is 9-3 at Tudor Fieldhouse this season and have won seven straight matches overall at home.

*The Owls are coming off a 3-1 victory at UTEP last Sunday, which clinched a C-USA Championship berth for Rice.

*As of Oct. 24 the Owls ranked 85th in the RPI standings. WKU (21st) and UTSA (59th) were the only teams higher in C-USA.

*Chelsey Harris is just 38 kills shy of joining the top 10 in career kills in school history.

*Junior setter Madison McDaniel has climbed to 10th place in Rice history in career assists with 1,963. McDaniel needs just 37 more assists to become the 10th player in school history to eclipse 2,000 assists. The Woodlands, Texas native currently ranks 10th in the nation in total assists this season with 943 and first in C-USA.
