HOUSTON, Texas - The Rice Owls volleyball team will continue their spring portion of their schedule this Saturday when they participate in the third annual F.A.S.T. Complex Collegiate Invitational at Reliant Center Hall E.
Rice will play four matches, beginning with Louisiana-Lafayette at 10 a.m. on Court 2, followed by SMU at 12 p.m. on Court 1. The Owls will have a couple hours off before facing Texas at 2 p.m. on Court 1, followed by Baylor on the same court at 3 p.m. Other teams in the tournament include Houston, Houston Baptist, North Texas, Oklahoma, Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston State, UTPA, UTSA, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Texas Southern.
Tickets can be purchased at the door (cash only). Adults are $8 while students and senior citizens are $8. For additional information visit www.fastcomplex.com.
The Owls began the spring season with a 3-0 victory over Blinn College and then went a combined 6-2 in set play last weekend at Tudor Fieldhouse against Texas A&M, TCU and SFA.
