The Rice Owls volleyball team bounced back from a tough loss to sweep Southern Miss.

Rice (2015-Sophomore): Named to the All-C-USA First Team…selected the AVCA National Player of the Week (11/3), joining Tiffany Carrethers as the only Owls to ever win an AVCA National Player of the Week award and the first C-USA setter to accomplish the feat since 2011…tied former Owl Megan Murphy (2012) with five C-USA Setter of the Week honors, just one shy of the C-USA record…Team Newcomer of the Year…earned spots on the Rice Adidas Invitational and Yale Invitational teams...played in 93 sets…ranked 32nd in the nation and second in C-USA with 10.97 assists per game…accumulated 18 double-doubles…led the Owls with 1,020 total assists and was second with 3.18 digs per set...eight matches with 50 or more assists…set a season-high with 70 assists in Rice’s upset over No. 22 WKU (10/31)….posted 62 assists in a victory over Yale (9/5)…three matches of 20 or more digs, including a season-high 22 in a win over LSU (8/29).
Arizona State (2014-Freshman): Appeared in 25 sets as both a setter and an outside hitter ... registered 23 kills (0.92 per set) with 14 digs and 12 blocks ... started at setter in an exhibition against Canada's Mount Royal University and totaled 34 assists ... set a career-high with seven kills against California.
