New Orleans - The Rice Owls women's track and field squad competes at the 2012 Conference USA Outdoor Championship this weekend at Tad Gormley Stadium. The event is hosted by Tulane University.

Action starts on Friday, May 11 with the heptathlon at 3 p.m., followed by the hammer throw (2 p.m.), and then the 10,000-meter run (8 p.m.). Saturday's running events start at 6 p.m. and are all prelims, except for the 3000m steeplechase. On Sunday, running finals start at 6 p.m. with the 4x100m relay, which is followed by the 1500m.
