Austin, Texas - At the Texas Twilight, the Rice Owls posted solid performances across the board at Myers Stadium.
Freshman Luci Cincinatis finished fourth in the 100m hurdles with a season-best time of 13.952, just shy of the NCAA qualifying time of 13.93. In the 400m hurdles, Cincinatis was ninth (1:04.09).
In the 400m, Brittany Washington placed fifth with a time of 55.42.
The 4x100m relay team of Kimberly Stanford, Sarah Lyons, Lucie Cincinati, and Shakera Reece placed third with a time of 46.62. In the 200m, Reece placed third with a time of 24.03 and also third in the 100m with an NCAA qualifying and season-best time of 11.67.
In the hammer throw, all three of Rice's competitors threw season-best marks led by Katie Dollinger's sixth-place spot of 45.25m/148-5. Brittany Brown was seventh (43.63m/143-1) and Tina Robinson placed ninth (40.40m/132-6).
In the discus competition, Robinson was sixth (44.99m/147-7), while Brown was seventh (42.82m/140-6).
Shannon Moran placed 10th in the long jump with a mark of 5.61m/18-5.
