Cross Country: Named the C-USA Female Cross Country Athlete of the Year, becoming the third runner in league history to win the award in consecutive years ... placed 56th at the NCAA Championships ... won her second consecutive C-USA individual title (17:22.6), helping lead the Owls to their third C-USA title in school history ... placed in the top five in four races and was the first Owl since Pam Klassen (1985-86) to qualify for consecutive NCAA Championships ... named to the C-USA All-Academic Team for a second straight year ... twice selected C-USA Female Athlete of the Week.
Cross Country: Became the first Rice athlete to win the C-USA Female Cross Country Athlete of the Year award ... placed 47th at the NCAA Championships following a fifth place finish at the NCAA South Central Regionals ... became the first Owl in school history to win a C-USA individual title (16:43-5k) ... named to the C-USA All-Academic Team ... Owls' top finisher in all six races and had four individual victories ... twice named the C-USA Female Athlete of the Week. Indoor: Won three individual races, including her first career C-USA Indoor title in the 5000m (16:14.78) ... named the C-USA Female Track Performer of the Meet ... had victories at the Houston Tune Up (3000m, 9:48.75) and Texas A&M Aggie Invitational (5000m, 17:11.68). Outdoor: Won second consecutive C-USA Outdoor title in the 10,000m (36:14.70) ... named the C-USA Female Co-Track Performer of the Meet ... also earned All-Conference honors with a second place finish in the 5000m (17:02.63) ... selected to the 2015 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team and the C-USA All-Academic Team.
Cross Country: Earned All-Conference and Freshman of the Meet honors by placing second at the C-USA Championships with a time of 17:19.9 in the 5k in Denton ... Finished third at the Rice Invitational, running 14:38 in the 4.2K. Indoor: Placed second in the 5,000m at the C-USA Indoor Championships and fourth in the 3,000m ... Won the 5,000m at the Texas A&M Invitational. Outdoor: Was one of five freshmen in the nation to compete in the 10,000m at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, placing 22nd with a time of 34:34.33 ...Advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a 12th place finish in the 10,000m at the NCAA West Prelims ... Won her first C-USA Outdoor title by running a 35:47.32 in the 10,000m and then placed second in the 5,000m one day later with an effort of 16:39.48 ... Won the 5,000m at the season-opening Victor Lopez Classic ... Set a PR at the Stanford Invitational with a mark of 16:24.55 in the 5,000m ... Also set a PR at the Mt. SAC Relays in the 10,000m (34:18.42).
