Outdoor: Won the 3,000 steeplechase at the C-USA meet in her debut, clocking a regional-qualifying 10:56.15 at El Paso... Lowered her PR to 10:50.51 at the NCAA Midwest Regional... Also placed second in the 5,000 at the C-USA meet... NCAA regional qualifier in 5k of 16:51.80 at Stanford April 30... Set lifetime-best for 10,000 at Mt. SAC April 14 with a 34:20.35 to move to No. 4 on the Rice all-time list and qualify for the NCAA national meet... Finished 19th at NCAA championships in 10k at 35:04.91.
Indoor: Finished second in the 5,000 and fifth in the 3,000 at C-USA meet... NCAA provisional qualifier in 5,000 with her 16:44.55 at Notre Dame March 3... Also had a personal-best 9:52.08 for 3k at Seattle Feb. 11.
Cross Country: Top runner for Owls at C-USA meet with 17:04.17 for second over 4K course at Orlando... Rice defeated UAB, 46-57, for team title... Also placed sixth at NCAA regional (21:10.10 for 6K) and 79th at NCAA national (21:13)... In team standings, Rice was third at regional and 25th at national.
Outdoor: Competed in 5,000 for Owls with top time of 17:48.55 at Texas Relays.
Indoor: Finished third in WAC indoor at 17:09.17 for 5,000 to help team to runner-up finish.
Cross Country: Won the 2004 WAC cross country individual crown to lead Rice to a second-place team finish... First Owl to win the individual conference title... Named the WAC cross country runner of the year... Also won the Rice Invitational and the Islander Opener Splash in Corpus Christi... Finished seventh at the NCAA Pre-National in Terre Haute, Ind.
Outdoor: Helped the Owls to the WAC crown, winning the 10,000 in 35:38.63, then taking third in the 5,000 the next day.... Placed fourth in the 5,000 at the Texas Relays with 16:59.72.
Indoor: Finished third in the 5,000 at the Tyson Invitational, recording the best time of the year by an Owl (16:41.35)... Also placed fourth in the 5,000 at the WAC championships.
Cross Country: Qualified for the NCAA championships after placing fourth at the NCAA South Central Region meet (20:59 for 6K to lead team to sixth-place finish)... Also team's top runner at WAC with 17:20 for 5K for third (Rice placed third as team)... Placed 53rd at NCAA national in 20:54.9... Also team's top runner at Rice, Texas A&M and Islander Opener Splash.
Outdoor: Helped the Owls to the WAC title by running third in the 5,000 at the WAC meet... Took the 5,000 title at the Rice/RunSport meet with a season-best 17:05.67.
Cross Country: WAC cross country freshman of the year and first-team all-WAC selection... Helped lead the Owls to the WAC title with a seventh place finish at the conference meet... Top runner for Rice in her rookie season... Was the first Owl to cross the finish line in five of Rice's eight meets.
