Owls Continue Strong Play at River Oaks Invitational

Rice swept five of six singles matches against the University of Texas while dropping two of three doubles matches to the University of Houston on the second day of action at the River Oaks Country Club Fall College Invitational in Houston on Saturday.

Rice ran its record in singles over the first two days of action to 10-2 and Priya Niezgoda, Michaela Haet, Anna Bowtell, Savannah Durkin and Sofie Moenster all registered wins against the Longhorns.

The Owls will wrap up play on Sunday, facing Texas in doubles and North Texas in singles.
