"Achieving Rice's highest national collegiate individual ranking in recent history, 31 in singles in the preseason, and teaming up with freshman Alanna Rodgers for a national doubles rank of 30, is an indicator of the leadership on the court Blair brings as a senior. Representing Rice University at the number-one singles position for four years demonstrates my confidence in Blair's capabilities."

Rice - Fall 2005: Entered the fall ranked 77th in the ITA's national poll... At the ITA Southwest Region Championships, advanced to the semifinals in doubles with partner Alanna Rodgers and the quarterfinals in singles.. Went 9-5 in singles and 6-6 in doubles... Won six of her final seven matches, including a win in the finals of the San Diego State Classic... Finished the fall ranked seventh in singles and third in doubles in the region.

2004-05: Named to the all-Western Athletic Conference first team for singles... Posted a 25-15 singles record, including a 16-8 mark at the top ladder position... Opened the dual season by winning six straight... Recorded 21 doubles wins with five partners, including 12 with Kimberley Patenaude... Faced 13 top-100 players during the year... Advanced to the quarterfinals at the Wilson ITA Southwest Regionals... Advanced to the second round of the consolation bracket at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships... Finished the year ranked 110th.

2003-04: Finished the season ranked 89th by the ITA and 15th in the Southwest Region... Led the team with a 24-14 singles record... Was 15-9 in dual match action, playing primarily at the number-one ladder position... Named first-team all-WAC in singles... Formed the Owls top doubles duo with Lauren Archer, finishing dual match action at 10-9... During the fall tournament season, advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Southwest Regional Championships as one of the number nine seeds... Recorded nine singles victories during the fall, with eight coming in straight sets.

2002-03: Named to the all-WAC second team in both singles and doubles, with partner Lauren Archer... Tied for second on the team in singles wins with Karen Chao, finishing the year 19-15... Also second with her combined 15 doubles victories... Recorded 12 singles wins in dual-match action splitting time at the one and two ladder positions... Formed the Owls' top doubles team with Archer, going 9-12 in the number one ladder position... Had a solid start to her collegiate career, posting a 7-5 singles mark during fall action... Won four of her first five matches... Advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships.

High School: 2002 graduate of The Kings Academy in West Palm Beach, Fla... A three-year letterwinner for coach Matt Tomas and the Lions... Went 10-0 as a senior and finished with a 31-2 career mark... Finished junior career ranked 37th nationally.
