RANKINGS AT RICE Singles: 2012 (27th Nationally, 4th in Texas Region) Doubles: 2012 (20th Nationally, 4th in Texas Region)
2012-13 (Sophomore) Repeat All C-USA first team selection in singles and second team selection with Dominique Harmath in doubles... Qualified for both NCAA singles and doubles for the second consecutive year... Finished the regular season with a 17-3 singles mark, closing with a 15-match winning streak... Winning streak also featured a stretch in which she won 29 consecutive sets before a second set loss in her C-USA semis match... Last two regular season matches were unfinished... Was 6-2 in the regular season vs. ranked opponents, inclding wins in her last four... Earned her fourth C-USA Women's Tennis Athlete of the week after leading the Owls' first-ever win over Texas... Combined with Dominique Harmath to upset UT's 12th ranked duo of Breaunna Addison and Noel Scott, 9-7 to clinch the doubles point and then downed two-time All-American Aeriel Ellis 6-3, 6-1 in singles to give the Owls a 2-0 lead... Posted a 9-3 mark in singles and teammated with Dominique Harmath for a 6-3 mark in doubles... Qualified for the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships in both singles and doubles... In singles, she went 1-2, dropping her opening match to Nicole Bartnik of Columbia (6-3, 6-2), then defeating Lauren McHale of North Carolina 6-4, 6-2 in her first consolation match before losing to Mary Anne Macfarlane of Alabam (6-3, 6-4)...In doubles competition, Beazant and Harmath lost 8-3 to Macfarlane and Alexa Guarachi of Alabama and then 8-5 to Stacey Tan and Ellen Tsay of Stanford...Qualified for the ITA Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in Flushing, NY, and lost her opening match to Robin Anderson of UCLA... She then had to withdraw because of an injury... Captured both the singles and doubles titles at the Midland Invite.
2011-12 (Freshman) Swept C-USA Honors, being named Player and Freshman of the Year, Outstanding Singles and Doubles of the Championships and first team All C-USA... Fifth player in C-USA history to be named both Player and Freshman of the Year...Second Owl to win Player of the Year (Blair DiSesa, 2006), Freshman of the Year (Julie Chao, 2007) and Outstanding Singles (Alanna Rodgers, 2006)...Teamed with Dominique Harmath to be the first Owls to earn Outstanding Doubles of the Championship... Named Rice Athletics Freshman of the Year after compiling a sterling 25-2 record in her freshman year, including a 22-2 mark at No. 1.... . 2-0 in tiebreakers and 2-1 in three set matches... Won 17 consecutive singles matches before falling to Robin Anderson of UCLA in the NCAA Sweet 16 match... 9-2 vs. ranked opponents... only losses were to #5 Anderson and #6 Cristina Sanchez-Quintanar of Texas A&M (in three sets).... had wins over #15 Mary Anne Macfarlane of Alabama, #17 Kristi Boxx of Ole Miss, #47 Ecaterina Vasenina of USF, #54 Anastasia Erofeeva of Tulsa (twice), #55 Edyta Cieplucha of SMU, #85 Stefanie Tan of TCU and #123 Allison Falkin of Ilinois (twice)... Finished the year ranked 37th, highest ranked Owl in singles since Wendy Wood was ranked 13th at the end of the 1986 season, and third-best in school history (Tracie Blumentritt in 1983). No Owl has ranked higher than 71st (Antonette Veloso in 1992) since that time. First Rice qualifer for the the NCAA singles championship since Blair DiSesa in 2006 and her win over Stacey Tan of Stanford was the Owls first win in NCAA singles since Wood in 1986... Teamed with Dominique Harmath to earn Rice's highest doubles ranking in history, finishing 20th after closing the seson by winning the first doubles match in school history with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Alabama's Antonia Foehse & Mary Anne Macfarlane... Wrapped up fall work with a 7-2 record in singles, and matched that with a combined 7-2 mark in doubles play... Played only two games but came away with a pair of titles in the final round of the 2011 Rice Invitational... Teammed with Stephanie Nguyen to win the doubles title when teammate Dominique Harmath was force to retire with in injury. Injury also forced Harmath to forfeit the singles final vs. Bezant... Advanced to the third round of the ITA Regionl in singles. Combined with Harmath to reach the third round in doubles at the ITA Regional.
High School/Juniors Owns a career high junior world ranking of #94 in May of 2010 and qualified for Wimbledon juniors this past summer in singles....Won the AirBerlin German Junior Championships (Grade 1 ITF) and Costa Rica Bowl (Grade 3 ITF) title in doubles.
