Owls Increase Lead In Team Standings Heading Into Final Day
2012-2013: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Simultaneously made a smooth transition to life in the United States and collegiate swimming... Scored 26 points at the C-USA Championships to help the Owls win the second league title in the program's history... The 26 points tied for the second-most scored by an Owl freshman... Registered the fifth-fastest 200-yard backstroke in school history (2:00.41) with a fifth-place finish in the event at the C-USA championships... Won the consolation finals of the 100-backstroke with a season-best 55.98, the sixth-fastest mark in Rice history... Scored for the team at conference in the 500-freestyle after a steady season-best 4:56.39 in the morning prelims...
