League's Championship Swim Meet Continues Through Saturday
88 Student-Athletes were honored.
2013-2014: Conference USA Academic Medal; C-USA Academic Honor Roll; Improved across the board in second season with the program... Recorded three new season-best times at the C-USA Championships... Swam a 24.38 in the 50-free, 53.62 in the 100, and a 1:55.83 in the 200... Showed some versatility by competing in the 100-backstroke in the annual Quad Meet across town at the University of Houston.
2012-2013: C-USA Academic Honor Roll; Completed first season of Division I swimming contributing in the freestyle sprints... Season-bests were a 24.86 in the 50-free, 54.51 in the 100, and a 1:57.34 in the 200, all at the Incarnate Word Invitational in December... Showed some versatility by competing in the 100-backstroke in the home dual meet against nationally-ranked Texas A&M.

Father was a four-year football letterman at Texas A&M. Participates in a host of community service initiatives through her high school and swim club. Chose to attend Rice because, "I fell in love with the campus and the swim team the moment I got there. The prestige that goes along with being a Rice student is incredible and cannot be compared.
