At Rice
2009-2010: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Scored big for the team with two second place finishes and a sixth at the annual C-USA Championships... Took second in the 100-butterfly with a season-best time of 54.64, a scant .01-seconds off her career-best from the year before... Won the C-USA's silver medal in the 200-butterfly for the second year in a row after a season-best 2:01.75... Placed sixth in the C-USA's 50-free and posted the Owls' best time of the year in the event with a 23.39 in the C-USA prelims... Had the squad's top mark in the 200-free (1:49.34) while on the lead leg of the 800-relay... Swam on four of the team's five fastest relays of the season, including the third leg of 200-medley relay that finished second in the conference with the second-fastest time in school history (1:42.27)... Swam butterfly on the 400-medley relay that posted the program's second-fastest time (3:47.16) on the way to a fourth-place C-USA finish... Helped the 800-free relay take second in the conference with the school's third-best mark (7:22.10), and also the lead of the Owls' sprint relay that was third in the conference with a 1:33.08... Set the facility record in the 200-butterfly at the Rice Aquatics Center (2:07.84) in the venue's inaugural double-dual meet in the fall... Member of the Owls' 400-medley relay that won the first-ever varsity event held at the Aquatics Center.
2008-09: Earned Rice University's Catherine E. Hannah Award as the Owls' Outstanding Swimmer of the Year; Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Named a Rice University Honor Athlete; Broke a four-year old school record on the way to finishing second in the 200-butterfly (1:58.94) at the C-USA Championships... Placed fourth in the C-USA's 100-butterfly after logging the third-fastest time in Rice history (54.63) in the prelims... Posted two of the fastest freestyle times in school history while swimming the lead leg on relays... Zoomed to a 1:47.98 leading-off the 800-free relay, the second-fastest 200 recorded at Rice... The strong start to the 800 helped set a new Rice relay record... Swam a 50.72 leading-off the 400-free relay for the fourth-best 100 in school history... The fast 100-free helped set a new school relay record and the Owl foursome provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships... Also swam the third leg of the 200-free relay that provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships... Blazed to a wicked 4:55.71 the Austin Grand Prix.
2007-08: Gained a redshirt season while sidelined with a season-ending injury... Worked hard in order to come back and compete with her teammates.
2006-07: Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll; C-USA Swimmer of the Week (Dec. 5, 2006); Closed out a sensational debut season of Division I swimming as the C-USA champion in the 200-yard butterfly, the Owls' first individual conference champion since 2003... Tallied an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 2:01.94 to win the league title, the third-fastest time in the 200-fly in school history... Ranked among the top 64 Division I swimmers in the nation in the event... Also reached the championship finals of the 100-fly, finishing seventh in the league after a season-best time of 56.91 in the prelims... Placed 11th in the conference in the 200-IM with a prelim time of 2:08.67... Swam the lead leg of the silver medal-winning 800-free relay that is one of the best in school history... Showed versatility by being able to contribute in the sprints and distance races with aplomb... Posted a 52.92 in the 100-free to conclude the year at the American Short Course Championships in Austin.
