2011- 2012: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Reached the championship finals in both individual medley events at the C-USA meet, highlighted by a fifth place finish in the 400 after a career-best 4:24.29 in the morning prelims... Placed sixth in the C-USA's 200-IM (2:04.02) after an eye-opening 2:01.65 in the prelims that is the third-fastest mark in school history... The 2:01.65 was only a tenth of a second from the previous school record in the 200-IM that had survived 17 years as Rice's top time until it was finally broken in 2012... Won the C-USA's consolation finals of the 100-breaststroke after a career-best 1:04.50 in the prelims... Scored a total of 36 points at conference, the eleventh-highest total on the team.
2010-2011: C-USA Swimmer of the Week (Nov. 13); Key contributor to the program in winning the first conference swimming championship in school history... Scored for the team in three individual events and one relay at the C-USA meet... Won the consolation final of the league's 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.09... Career-best in the 100-breaststroke was a 1:04.32 at home against the Miami Hurricanes, the fastest time by an Owl at the Rice Aquatics Center... Finished tenth in the C-USA's 200-breaststroke with a career-best 2:20.59... Also owns Rice's best mark in the 200-breaststroke at the home Aquatics Center (2:21.72)... Placed 16th in the 200-individual medley at conference after a season-best 2:08.70 in the morning prelims... Swam the second leg of the third-fastest 200-medley relay in school history (the first event on the way to the C-USA title)... Notched a career-best 4:31.76 in the 400-IM in a home dual meet against the crosstown rival Houston Cougars.
2009-2010: Battled through a season-long injury to score for the Blue & Gray in two different events at the C-USA Championships held across town at the University of Houston... Finished tenth in the league in the 200-individual medley with a season-best mark of 2:05.57, the second-fastest mark by Owl all year... Placed 14th in 100-breaststroke after a season-best 1:06.40 in the morning prelims... Competed in the 400-IM at the inaugural meet held at the campus' new Aquatics Center, registering a season-best 4:33.65.
A 2009 graduate of The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla.... State finalist who helped Bolles win an 18th-consecutive girls' state championship... Finished second in the state in 100-breaststroke and 200-individual medley... Served as the Bulldogs' team co-captain... Coached by Sergio Lopez... Member of the National Honor Society... Earned the school's highest tier of academic accolades with First Honors.
