2008: Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll; Rice Scholar-Athlete; Won the team's Kathryn Scholl True Blue Spirit Award for the third year in a row as the Owl swimmer with the best enthusiasm and positive attitude at meets and during daily practice... Rice's first three-time recipient of the Scholl Award... Finished 12th in the 200-free (1:55.96) at the C-USA Championships... Swam the team's sixth-fastest time in the 100-butterfly (59.77) at the conference meet... Tallied the team's fifth-fastest time of the year in the 200-butterfly (2:12.40) at the Phill Hansel Duals.
2007: Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll; Won the team's Kathryn Scholl True Blue Spirit Award for the second year in a row (presented annually to the Owl swimmer with the best enthusiasm and positive attitude at meets and during daily practice)... Became the first Owl to earn the award two times since Scholl herself in 2001 and 2002... Scored for the team in three events at the Conference USA championships held across town at the University of Houston... Finished 12th in the 200-butterfly, 14th in the 400-IM and 16th in the 100-butterfly... Best races of the year were at the Phill Hansel Duals... Contributed to the team in the freestyle sprints at the American Short Course Championships in Austin at the end of the year.
2006: Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll; Completed a solid inaugural season of Division I swimming... Won the Kathryn Scholl Award as a true freshman... Reached the championship final of the 200-yard butterly at the Conference USA championships and won the league's consolation final of the 100-butterfly... Posted a Rice-best time of 2:07.74 in the 200-fly prelims... Swam a season-best 57.57 in the C-USA 100-fly... Scored for the Owls at conference with a 14th place finish in the 200-individual medley (2:10.44)... Contributed to the team in the freestyle sprints and backstroke during the regular season.

Sister, Lindsey, is a former swimmer and recent graduate of the Air Force Academy. Valued volunteer worker in the pressbox for the Owls' top-ranked baseball team in the spring. College: Baker.
