Both grandfathers were college athletes: Cecil Graves played football at the University of Arkansas (1951-53), and Bob Owen was a pole vaulter at Penn (1954). Great-grandfather, Benjamin Owen, was a member of the 1924 U.S. Olympic team. Rice College: Sid Richardson.
