Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Won the C-USA silver medal with a second place finish in the 200-yard backstroke... Swam a career-best 1:59.98 in the league's 200-backstroke, the third-fastest time in school history and second-best by an Owl in the last 12 years... Scored for the team by taking fifth in the 400-individual medley on the strength of a career-best 4:22.37... Set the Rice Aquatics Center facility record in the 400-IM with a 4:28.54, the very first individual event champion in the Owls' new venue... Best 200-IM time was a 2:05.81 in the C-USA prelims... Swam a career-best 57.03 in the 100-backstroke, the second-fastest mark by an Owl all season... Showed her versatility by competing in the mile in the Phill Hansel Duals across town at the University of Houston.

2008-09: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Scored in three individual events at the C-USA Championship with three new career-bests... Took sixth in the league in the 400-individual medley with a 4:24.93... Finished tenth in the C-USA's 200-IM (2:05.36) and 14th in the 100-back after a 58.23 in the prelims... Swam a 2:03.31 in a timed-trial of the 200-backstroke across town at the University of Houston.

2007-08: Capped an outstanding debut season of Division I swimming as the top Owl in three different events and scoring big for the Blue & Gray at the C-USA championships... Named the team's Rookie of the Year... Swam the third-fastest 200-backstroke in school history (at the time) with a 2:01.00 for a fifth place finish at the C-USA meet... Posted the Owls' best mark of the season in the 400-IM (4:28.85) to take sixth at conference... Finished eighth at the C-USA's in the 200-IM with the Owls' best time of the season (2:07.15).

A 2007 graduate of Bozeman High School in Bozeman, Montana... Won seven individual high school state championships and was a member of two state-winning relay teams... Led the Hawks to two state titles in four years... Coached by Gary Crowe... Earned Academic all-America... Member of the National Honor Society... Also competed in cross country.

Competed for the Bozeman Swim Club... Finalist in 200-individual medley at 2006 Long Course Junior Nationals... Qualified for the U.S. Open... 2005 all-America in 200-IM... Named the Speedo Swimmer of the Year for Montana... Coached by Gary Crowe.

Sister, Haley, was a four-year letterwinner in swimming at the University of Georgia. Majors: art (film) and sport management. College: Duncan.
