Owl Swimmers Go 1-2 In Dual Meet Scoring; Next Compete In C-USA Championships On Feb. 15
At Rice 2010-2011: Shared Rice's Rookie of the Year award (with Michelle Gean) as the program's top freshman; Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll; Won the C-USA individual championship in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:16.13 that broke the oldest Rice record in the books (16 years)... Finished second in the mile at conference with a career-best time of 16:45.58, the fifth-fastest mark in school history... Fastest mile by an Owl freshman in five years... Placed tenth in the league in the 500-freestyle with a career-best 4:58.63... Scored a total of 44 points for the Owls at the C-USA meet, the sixth-highest total on the team... Posted the Owls' best 1,000-free of the season (10:11.34) at the intermediate mark during the C-USA mile.
