Sept. 29, 2006

Name: Kellen Schugart (link to official Rice bio)

My Rice College: Baker

My favorite soccer player: Wayne Rooney

My favorite movie: Fun With Dick and Jane

My favorite CD or music artist: Rascal Flatts

My pet peeve: People chewing with their mouth open

My favorite snack: Anything that is edible

My favorite class at Rice is: Nutrition because it is extrememly applicable to life in general...however I'm only a freshman so I have limited choices.

I chose to attend Rice because: My unofficial with Clory was the time of my life to say the least

What I like most about college life or specifically college life at Rice: Not having to tell my parents what I'm going to, where I'll be and most of all when I'll be home.

One athlete (non soccer player) I would like to meet: Kellen Winslow because I was named after him.

One person (non athlete) I would like to meet: Dr. Phil

My favorite moment of my soccer career so far: Beating UT!!!

The person who got me interested in soccer: My Dad

The best soccer advice I ever had was: My dad always told me to work as hard as I could every game, even if everything was going badly. Then your standards are raised and your bad games really turn out to be good and everything else awesome.

My favorite sport besides soccer is: Golf

The most embarrassing moment or thing that ever happened to me: Asking my dad where the British Open was.

I describe myself as: An easy-going person who'd do anything for my family and friends and enjoys life, those around me, and most of all having a good laugh.

My favorite coach Huston expression: "You're gonna be in a world of hurt..."

Other than myself, the Rice soccer player to keep an eye on this season: Erin Scott

The Rice soccer player with the best or most interesting non-soccer talent: Beth Martin - her pregame dancing in the locker room.
