JUST FOR KICKS! Meet The Rice Soccer Team - Nikki Storness

Junior midfielder Nikki Storness has steadily improved over the course of her Rice soccer career, and now the standout from Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., has worked her way into six starts and more than 450 minutes of action. There's just no substitute for that kind of experience when it comes to fielding the rugged Just For Kicks questions.

Nickname my teammates call me: "Nik"

Favorite soccer player: Cristiano Ronaldo (for his soccer and modeling career!)

Favorite movies: Bad Boys 2, The Hangover

Favorite web site: owlspace... yeah, that's about it.

Favorite CD or music artist: everything... Britney Spears is up there!

Favorite snacks: peanut butter!!! or CANDY

Favorites at the Rice servery: chicken alfredo... endless supply of cereal... cinnamon rolls... Mexican night!

Favorite classes: nutrition and Spanish

I chose to attend Rice because: the challenging academics, traditions of the university and soccer

What I like most about college life at Rice: the interesting people you meet

My pet peeve: slow drivers/walkers!!!!!!!

One person I would like to meet: Angelina Jolie

Favorite moment of my soccer career so far: when I scored last year and my roomie, Annie, assisted on the goal

Who got me interested in soccer: my dad :)

The best soccer advice I ever had: "go out there and just have fun!"

My favorite sports besides soccer: basketball, ice hockey, football.. in that order

When Rice started soccer for the first time 10 years ago (2001), I was busy: going to movie theaters on Friday nights because that was the cool thing to do at age 11

The Rice team I like to watch play their sport: volleyball... it's so entertaining and intense!

My teammates think I am: amazing, awesome, great, cool, the best, brilliant, superb.... yeah, I think you get it :)
