HOUSTON -- The Rice Owls' 2017 soccer schedule, featuring a total of eight regular season home matches on campus at Holloway Field, was announced on Friday (June 2).
After a pair of exhibition matches in early August, the Owls' soccer season officially gets underway with a rugged road game at national power Texas on August 18. Rice plays the 2017 home-opener against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Aug. 20 at 6 pm. The Blue & Gray also welcome longtime state foe Baylor (Aug. 25) and crosstown rival Houston (Aug. 25) for non-conference home matches.
