Senior Nia Stallings notched the first Rice hat trick in three years, while junior Marissa Topolski scored a goal and had two assists, to help rally the Rice soccer team to a 4-1 victory over visiting crosstown rival Houston on Labor Day evening at the Owls' Holloway Field.
Rice improved to 2-1-1 on the season before a crowd of 613 fans. All proceeds from the match are to go to the United Way of Houston's Flood Relief Fund.
