The Rice soccer team wrapped-up its preseason exhibition match against crosstown rival Houston Saturday night (Aug. 15). Owl head coach Nicky Adams' comments are in the video below.
Rice's official season-opener is a home marquee match on Aug. 21 (Friday) against longtime national power Texas A&M - a squad that reached the 2014 NCAA College Cup. Start time is set for 7 pm. The Owls also welcome former conference rival San Jose State for a home match on Aug. 23 at 1 pm.
Season tickets starting as low as $50 are available for the Owls' home matches, a challenging schedule featuring Texas A&M, Arkansas and SMU as well as the regular season slate of C-USA league games. In addition to season tickets featuring reserved or general admission seating, the popular Flex Plans (where fans can use different quantities of tickets for their choice of games throughout the season) are again available for soccer.
