Nicky Adams on Trinity King: "We are very excited that Trinity will be joining us this fall. Trinity is an amazing athlete. She is extremely versatile as she can play a number of positions. We can see her really helping us somewhere on the backline or even in the midfield. She is strong and fast and extremely dynamic."
Wakeland High School Coach Iseed Khoury said: "Trinity has been the cornerstone of the girls soccer program at Wakeland. Our success on the field has come from her hard work and leadership to push herself and others to play at a high level. I am sure it will be the same at Rice."
Trinity King said: "I chose Rice because it is an outstanding school all around. It is a top ranked university that will help prepare me for life after soccer, the campus is beautiful, and it is in a great city where there are a lot of things to do. The Rice soccer team finishes in the top, as does their academics. This Owls program consistently makes appearances in the NCAA tournament, and most importantly they play great soccer! Overall, I believe that Rice is the school for me because it has both the athletic and academic rigor that will push me out of my comfort zone and toward the person I aspire to be in the long run, all while providing me the opportunity to make life long memories and friends."
