Club -- Veteran ECNL player for Mountain View Los Altos (MVLA)... Served eight seasons as team captain... coached by Seth Alberico.

High School -- Attends Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, Calif., (the same school as current Owl goalkeeper Maya Hoyer)... Four-year varsity letterwinner, currently leading the CIF-Central Coast Section in scoring... Earned second team all-league honors as a defender in 2017 and all-league as a sophomore midfielder in 2016... Helped lead the Monarchs to three-consecutive WCAL championships in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Personal -- Full name: Paris Jessica Fox. Parents: George Henry III and Mary Ann Fox of Saratoga, Calif. (one brother). Chose to attend Rice over the University of Southern California, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, UCLA, San Diego, Penn and UC Santa Barbara.

Rice head coach Nicky Adams said -- “Paris is a strong and quick athlete that can play anywhere along the back line or centrally in the midfield. Paris is one of those players that will battle all over the field but has the composure to distribute and combine under pressure."

Archbishop Mitty Head Soccer Coach J.T. Hanley said -- "For the past four years, I have had the pleasure of working with Paris Fox. In that time, I have gotten to know her as both an excellent soccer player and student-athlete, and a positive, upbeat young woman. I've watched her grow from a prodigiously gifted freshman whose talent won her a spot on the varsity squad as a freshman into one of the most technically creative players who's worn a Monarch uniform during my 11 seasons as head coach. She is both respected and loved by her teammates, and I have no doubt that she will have an extremely successful college soccer experience. Our loss is definitely Rice's gain, and we wish her all the best as an Owl."

Paris Fox said -- "As soon as I stepped onto the Rice campus, I felt like I was at my second home. Although I visited many universities over the last few years, there was something special that made it easy for me to call Rice and the state of Texas my new home for the next four years. I am excited to be a part of Rice's winning culture for many years to come!!"
