Meet The Rice Soccer Team

Rice --
2013: Conference USA Academic Medalist
; Played in a total of ten matches with three starts, including a key postseason start in the Conference USA Tournament... Appeared in each of the team's final seven games of the season as the Owls were pushing for a postseason bid... Helped level the squad down the stretch with 3-3-1 record in the final seven games... Averaged more than 38 minutes per game, but played 80 or more minutes three times... Made starting debut on defense in a C-USA home contest against Old Dominion and worked the full 90 minutes... Came back two days later to play the full 110 minutes in the double-overtime game against league foe East Carolina... Took a total of five shots, with a career-high two attempts against Marshall.

Club -- 2009 ODP state team while with Lonestar SC... Helped lead the squad to the 2011 U-18 STYSA National Cup State Championship... South Texas State Champions in 2010 and 2011... Won Disney Showcase in January 2010... Reached the national finals of the Elite Clubs National League (Division B) for the 2009-10 season.
