Rice -- Returns to the soccer field for the first time in three years... Anxious to contribute to the team... Used speed and athleticism to make an impact in Conference USA her first season in the league in 2005... Effective up front or in the midfield... Outstanding passer... 2007: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Sat out the entire season as a redshirt... 2006: Was injured prior to the start of the season and sat out the entire year... 2005: C-USA Tournament Offensive MVP; C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medalist; C-USA All-Academic; Named the Owls' rookie of the year and earned the team award as the assists leader... Set new school-records for assists in a season (9) and single game (3)... Tied for third in C-USA assists... Passed out a school record three assists in a win over Texas Southern and notched two assists in victories over Stephen F. Austin and Tulane, as well as East Carolina in the semifinals of the C-USA tournament... Voted the C-USA tournament MVP after tallying three goals (two game-winners) and two assists in leading the Owls to the championship title...
