Owls Set to Host Columbia in Non-Conference Finale
The Rice Owls, winners of four straight, will play their final non-conference game of the regular season this Saturday (2 p.m.) when they host Columbia on ESPN3. Rice is a perfect 4-0 at home this season while the Lions are 3-2 on the road. The Owls lead the all-time series over the Lady Panthers, 1-0. A win on Saturday for the Owls would give Rice their most non-conference victories in a season since joining Division I. The 1981-82 Owls (Division II) began the season 13-1.

Last Time Out
Rice junior Nicole Iademarco scored a game-high 26 points while redshirt sophomore teammate Erica Ogwumike added 21 points to help lead the Owls to an 88-68 victory at Prairie View A&M last Thursday afternoon at the William J. Nicks Building. Rice won their fourth straight game by tying a season-high in points and a 56 percent clip shooting from the field in their final non-conference road game of the year. Iademarco and Ogwumike scored 20-plus points for a second straight game and combined to make 16-of-28 shots from the field. Ogwumike also collected 10 rebounds for her team-leading third double-double of the season.

Raining in Three-Pointers
The Owls lead all of C-USA in three-point field goals made per game (8.8-30th in NCAA) and lead the league in total three-pointers made (97-50th in NCAA). The Owls are also second in C-USA in three-point percentage (.383). Iademarco is seventh in C-USA in three-point makes per game (2.6) and three-point field goal percentage (37.7) and has made at least one three-pointer in each of the Owls first 11 games. Five Owls have made 10 or more three-pointers this season.

Columbia Scouting Report
The Lions are coming off a 77-53 loss at Houston on Thursday, which came after a 17-day break. Columbia has won four of their last five games prior to the loss. Senior wing Camille Zimmerman leads the Lions in scoring (21.1 ppg) while playing nearly 35 minutes per contest.

Keep ‘Em Below 70
With their 88-68 win at Prairie View A&M, the Owls improved to 8-0 this season when they allow their opponents to score 70 points or less. The Owls rank fifth in C-USA in scoring defense, surrendering just 59.7 points per game.
