Rice's Moussa, Egypt Go Undefeated In Pool Play
Moussa Looks To Lead Egypt To World Championships

Rice sophomore guard Reem Moussa and the Egypt U18 National Team went undefeated in pool play and advance to the quarterfinals of AfroBasket U18 2012 in Dakar, Senegal. She has 31 points on 56.3% shooting and 9 assists for the Egyptians throughout pool play.
Moussa scored 18 points in 36 minutes against Tunisia, a 67-53 win for Egypt. She went on 4-of-5 field goal shooting and 9-of-13 free throw shooting to help Egypt win the game.
Moussa started and played 27 minutes against Mali, a 53-43 Egyptian win. She scored six points and added three rebounds in that contest.
She started in Egypt's 86-49 blowout win of Kenya, posting 5 points on 2-of-2 shooting in just 7 minutes of action. She accumulated two points and four assists in 13 minutes of play against Angola, a 76-43 win for Egypt.
Egypt plays Senegal in the quarterfinals of the tournament. The two finalists in the tournament advance to the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women, held in Lithuania.
