Rice's Women's Athletics Advisory Board announced its first annual Trivia Night on Thursday, held on October 3 in Rice Stadium's R Room at 6:30 p.m. Teams of eight compete for access to the Athletic Director's suite at a 2014 baseball game.
The teams of eight, which cost $200 to enter, answer four rounds of questions in the competition. Rice Celebrities, such as Y. Ping Sun, and Greg Williams, will be auctioned off at the start of the event to join a team and help answer the various questions.
All proceeds from the event benefit Rice's eight women's sports, three of whom won C-USA Championships in 2012-13.
Supporters who would like to participate can either sign up a team of eight for $200, or sign up individually and be placed on a team for $25. Rice students can register for the event for just $15. All contributions to this event are tax deductible for the full amount. The registration form is available here.
