Season Tickets Now on Sale for Women’s Hoops

HOUSTON – Season tickets to be a part of Coach Tina Langley’s first year at the helm of Rice women’s basketball are now on sale. Fans can take advantage of a new lower season ticket price for the 2015-2016 campaign as the Owls welcome a competitive 14-game home schedule to Tudor Fieldhouse, including matchups against top-25 foe Texas, Harvard, and cross-town rival Houston.

Adult season tickets start as low as $60 while the Family Plan (two adult and two youth tickets) is available for only $99. Owl fans can also be right next to the action with courtside season tickets for $150. Fans that renew their season tickets by Sept. 18 are eligible to win special experiences with the basketball staff including lunch with Coach Langley, the chance to be honorary coach for a game, or courtside seats for a selected game.

Purchasing season tickets also includes benefits such as access to a preseason team Meet and Greet, where fans can enjoy refreshments while watching an evening practice. Fans will enjoy a season preview from Coach Langley and the opportunity to pick up their season tickets at the event. For a full list of season ticket holder benefits, please click here.

Tip times for the Rice women’s basketball 2015-16 schedule were also solidified on Thursday in conjunction with the release of season ticket sales.

The Owls will play seven 2 p.m. contests, which includes the home opener against No. 22 Texas on Saturday, Nov. 21, as well as the C-USA home opener against UTEP on New Year’s Day. Senior Day on Saturday, Feb. 27 versus Louisiana Tech will also be a 2 p.m. tipoff.

In addition, there will be six evening games starting at 7 p.m. and one 4 p.m. start time as part of a doubleheader against crosstown rival Houston on Saturday, Dec. 5. The full schedule can be viewed below.
