The Owls are 9-2 when they shoot 40+ percent from the field. The Owls are 13-7 when they commit fewer turnovers than their opponents.

Rice Head Coach Greg Williams
Greg Williams (Rice, 1970) is now in his seventh season as the head coach of his alma mater. Williams has a 102-113 record at Rice and an 18-year career mark of 303-252.

Vs. Houston
Houston leads the series 41-8. The Owls won the season's first meeting vs. Houston 58-50 on Jan. 28. Jessica Kuster scored 19 points and grabbed 16 rebounds for her ninth double-double to lead the Owl attack. Jessica Goswitz (16) and Candace Ashford (13) also scored in double-digits.
