Collegiate Consulting Partners with Rice University for Ticket Sales
Outbound effort aimed to increase season and group ticket sales

HOUSTON, Texas - Collegiate Consulting and Rice University have established a partnership for athletic ticket sales and service responsibilities. In a multi-year agreement, Collegiate Consulting will assist Rice in athletics ticket sales with a full-time, professional outbound sales staff headquartered in the Owls' athletics department offices.
Rick Greenspan, Rice Director of Athletics, said the relationship will broaden the department's reach and enhance its ability to increase ticket revenues and attendance. "We believe the opportunity to work with Collegiate Consulting will increase ticket sales and provide a supportive complement to achieve our external financial goals," Greenspan said. "The Collegiate Consulting staff will work closely with our Owl Club and Athletic Ticket Office personnel to ensure our fans receive first-class treatment."
Under the agreement, Collegiate Consulting will primarily focus on season and group ticket revenue for football, men's basketball, women's basketball and baseball.
"We are looking forward to beginning our Rice partnership with our transitional staff set to begin in mid-June and our full-time staff to come onboard in July," said Collegiate Consulting managing director Russell Wright. "Our model is to develop a fan-focused, experience-driven philosophy which complements the marketing and development efforts of the athletics department."
Collegiate Consulting will hire a staff of three - a general manager and two account executives to support Rice's ticket sales efforts.
