Pillow Places Third at USATF Indoor Championships
Cleared 5.65m in the pole vault
ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Former Rice All-American Chris Pillow placed third in the pole vault at the USATF Indoor Championships Saturday afternoon at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Pillow, from Mechanicsville, Virginia, cleared a lifetime best 5.65m (18-6.50) on his final attempt to finish behind only 2016 Olympians Sam Kendricks (5.85m) and Logan Cunningham (5.65m).
While at Rice, Pillow won five C-USA titles and twice earned NCAA First Team All-American honors.
