Outdoor: Had a record-setting double at the C-USA championships, winning the 800 and 1500 in meet record times... Set a lifetime best of 1:47.69 to win the 800... Broke age-old Rice 1500 record with his 3:40.34 at the Arkansas Twilight Meet on May 4... Placed 7th at Midwest Regional to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA national meet... Won mile at UCLA with an outdoor PR 4:00.86.
Indoor: NCAA all-America with a fifth-place finish in the mile at 4:01.24... Won C-USA mile in meet-record time of 4:00.82, which was also a Rice record... Placed second in the 800 at C-USA... Won Husky Classic mile at Seattle in 4:02.84... Also won Houston Indoor Invitational mile in 4:03.85.
Cross Country: 10th at C-USA championships to help the Owls to a third-place team finish... Won conference athlete of the week honors after a second-place finish at the Arizona State meet... Finished 39th at NCAA Regionals.
Outdoor: C-USA champion in 1500, setting a meet record of 3:44.43 at El Paso... Also placed third in the 800 at C-USA... Fifth in 1500 at regional meet to qualify for NCAA nationals... Placed 10th in his heat of the 1500 at NCAA national meet, ended up 19th overall.
Indoor: Broke Rice record in indoor mile with his 4:01.87 at Notre Dame... Record was previously held by his coach, Jon Warren... Won C-USA indoor mile and set a conference meet record at 4:06.34.
Cross Country: Finished 18th at the C-USA meet, and was the Owls' fifth runner... 13th at Rice Invitational.
Outdoor: Fourth in the 800 at the WAC championships... Ran third leg on Rice's 4x400 that placed fourth at the WAC meet... Had a season-best 1:50.89 at the Mt. SAC relays
Indoor: Fourth in the 800 at the WAC championships after posting the fastest qualifying time at 1:51.81... Seventh in the mile at the WAC meet... Won the Hyatt Regency Invitational 800 and was second in the mile at the Tyson Invitational with a time of 4:05.65.
Cross Country: 23rd at the WAC championships as Rice won the team title...Finished 10th at the Rice Invitational.
Outdoor: Third in the 1500 at the WAC championships, qualifying for the NCAA regional meet with a career-best 3:47.80... Also took fourth in the 800 at 1:50.72... Placed 11th in the 1500 at the NCAA regional meet... Won the Bayou Classic 800 with a lifetime-best 1:50.10.
Indoor: Won gold on the Owls' DMR, and was fifth in the 800 at the WAC championships at 1:55.31... Also finished 11th in the 3000 at that meet... Set personal best of 1:51.33 in winning the Houston Indoor Invitational.
Cross Country: 22nd individually at the WAC championships, helping the Owls to a fourth-place finish... Finished 63rd at the NCAA South Central regional meet.
