JUNIOR (2004-05)
Outdoor: Bronze medalist in the 3000SC at the WAC championships at 9:12.64, also finished 10th in the 5000 with a season-best 14:59.41... NCAA regional qualifier in the steeplechase, finishing fourth in his section at 9:16.28... Clocked a PR 9:06.68 at the Rice Twilight meet on April 30... Ran 4:00.01 for 1500 at the Tom Tellez Invitational.
Indoor: 15th in the 3000 at the WAC championships at 8:52.44, and ran on the Owls' fourth-place distance medley team... Set a season-best of 8:39.94 for 3k at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville.
Cross Country: Second-team all-WAC, helping the Owls to the 2004 WAC cross country title with his 10th-place finish and completing the 8k course in 25:52.15... Finished in the top-10 three times.
SOPHOMORE (2003-04)
Outdoor: Fourth at the WAC outdoor championships in the steeplechase with a season-best time of 9:13.31.
Indoor: Did not compete.
Cross Country: 23rd at WAC championships, clocking 26:41 for 8k.
FRESHMAN (2002-03)
Outdoor: Ran the steeplechase during the outdoor season... Finished first at the TSU Relays and Rice Bayou Classic... Scored points for the Owls at the WAC championship with a seventh-place finish.
Indoor: Top 3000-meter time was 8:36.28 at the Meyo Invitational.
Cross Country: Third Owl to cross the finish line at the WAC championships, placing 29th in 26:30... 14th at the Rice Opener... Ninth at the Cougar Classic Invitational, finishing the 8k course in 26:29.
PREP/PERSONAL
2002 graduate of Sunset High School in Portland, Ore. ... Four-year track and XC letterwinner under head coach Ken Bell... Finished third individually and cross country squad finished third at the state 4A meet as a senior... Placed fourth in the state in the 3000 meters and seventh in the 1500...
