Rice: Transfer from Fordham after playing two seasons for the Rams.
Fall 2013: Second on the squad with a 4-3 singles record in the fall, and added three additional singles wins at the USTA Futures event held at Jake Hess... Earned a spot in the USTA main draw after winning three times in the qualifying round... Defeated Tito Moreiras of Texas A&M 6-4, 6-0 in the ITA Texas Regional opener, then lost to Lloyd Glasspool of Texas 7-5, 6-1.. Reached the third round of the ITA All American in Tulsa by defeating Ravi Patel of Duke in three sets (6-7, 6-3, 6-4), then fell to Jordan Daigle of Virginia in three sets in the third round (5-7, 7-5, 6-4).
2012-13: Earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors... Named team MVP... Earned first regional ranking from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) (was ranked 20th in the Northeast region in January)... Posted an 18-8 singles record, which included eleven wins at the #1 slot... Led team in singles wins... Also added nine doubles wins on the year, four coming with Kuba Kowalski.
2011-12: Named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 as a freshman... Advanced to the finals of the US Open National Playoffs, hosted at Yale University, in June of 2012... Led the Rams in singles wins, going 23-9 on the year, playing mostly at second singles where he was 16-2 on the year... Was 2-0 at first singles and 2-2 at third singles... Was 17-14 overall in doubles play, 7-0 at first doubles... Six of the seven first doubles wins came with Kuba Kowalski... Also picked up seven wins at second doubles, four with Max Peara as his partner... Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week once.
Juniors: Competed at the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida... Competed in ITF Junior events all over the world, and holds a ITF Junior World ranking of 343... Defeated several top 100 US Junior players and blue chip recruits.
