Finished 10-10 in his first career action at #1 singles... Clinched the Owls win over their highest ranked opponent when he defeated #33 Oregon's 6-8 Jeff Mullen 6-4, 7-5... Was 5-2 in three-set matches and had two others unfinished in which he was leading... Combined with Leif Berger for a 10-5 mark in doubles, with most of that action coming at the third spot, before moving up to play second doubles at the C-USA Championship... Chang and Berger were 1-0 at C-USA, defeating Rodrigo Rappaccioli and Alex Van Cott 8-0 to the Owls off to a quick start in a 4-3 upset win to move into the semifinals..Was 8-5 in tournament singles and 4-7 in doubles... Reached the semifinals on the Midland Invite with wins over Max Stevens of TCU, Jacoby Lewis of Texas and Victor Manzini of Texas Tech before falling to eventual champion Arnau Dachs of TCU, 7-6, 6-3. At the Texas ITA Regional, downed Bruno Snyder of Lamar, 7-5, 6-2,and Yauheni Yakauleu 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 before losing to Nick Chappell of TCU 6-3,6-3.
Finished with a career-best 14-10 record in singles, including a 8-4 mark in the fourth position... Led the Owls with a 9-5 record during the Fall... Captured the D flight singles title at the Rice Fall Invite, defeating Cedric Rutsaert of Tulane, Matta Zachary of LSU and Hall Fess of Arkansas... won his first five matches of the fall before withdrawing in his third round match at the UTSA Invite because of an injury.... Six of 14 fall singles matches went three sets (3-3).
2010-11 Season (Sophomore)
Picked up wins in all three of his singles matches and was 1-4 in doubles play.... Posted a 7-4 mark in fall singles and a combined 6-4 mark in doubles... Combined with Philipp Seifert to win the B Draw consolation doubles final at the Rice Fall Invitational... Won the D draw consolation singles at the Rice Fall Inite... Captured the singles title in round one consolation bracket of the USTA-ITA Regional.
2009-10 Season (Freshman)
Posted a 5-4 mark in singles in his first season of action... Won his first three matches, including the clincher against #24 Oklahoma State in the opening round of the ITA Kickoff Weekend...Downed Maximilian Kuhn of OSU, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5)... Went 3-3 in doubles, all with Isamu Tachibana... Posted a 10-4 singles mark during the fall... Opened the fall by defeating teammate Christian Saravia 3-6, 7-6, 1-0 (10-7) to win the C Flight singles of the Rice Fall Invitational... Closed the year by falling to Saravia 6-0, 5-7, 6-2 in the B Draw championship at the Texas Invitational... Won his first round match at the ITA Texas Regional over UTPA's Marcus Dornauf 6-2, 6-4 before dropping a 6-3, 7-6 (6) decision to Texas' Vasil Miadenov in the Round of 64.

Four-time regional qualifier, three-time regional finalist and regional champion in 2009... Three-time state qualifier and reached the state finals as a senior.. loss in the championship match was his only loss as a senior... Lost to Texas recruit Ben Chen of Klein Collins 7-6, 3-6, 6-3... Defeated Chen, who was the #2 seed, 6-4, 6-2, to win the men' s singles title at the ITA Summer Circuit at Texas A&M's George P. Mitchell Tennis Center...downed top-seeded Colin Hoover of Texas A&M, 6-4, 3-6, 10-3 to reach the final... Named to the Houston Chronicle's All Greater Houston team.
