Rice and Texas A&M met at the GRBRC on January 21
Tommy Bennett and David Warren won the consolation doubles championship at the Men's All-American Championship on October 9.
Rice fell to LSU in the first round of the 2016 NCAA Tennis Championship in Ft. Worth
Rice captured the C-USA title on April 24.
Rice advanced to the C-USA Championship match with a 4-1 win over UAB on April 23.

2016-17 (RS Senior)
Spring: Finished the year at 8-8 in singles, including a 7-1 mark at the second line in singles while captaining the Owls to their first consecutive conference titles since they won five SWC crowns from 1969-72… 2-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles at the Conference USA Championship.. Raced to a 6-1, 6-1 win over Kai Breitbach vs. UTSA in the quarters to up the Owls lead to 2-0 then scored the first of four consecutive points for the Owls in the title match over ODU with a 7-5, 7-5 win over Michael Weindl... Qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championship with David Warren for the second consecutive year, matching the Barker twins (Richard and William) as the only repeat doubles qualifiers since the tournament format was adopted.
Fall: Bounced back from an opening round loss to win the main draw consolation of the 2016 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championship doubles competition and earn a berth in the ITA Indoor Nationals.
2015-16 (RS Junior)
Spring: Returned to action after sitting out 2015 with an injury and led the Owls to their first C-USA title since 2010... Finished 10-9 in singles (3-3 at No. 1; 7-6 at No. 2), capping that effort with a three-set win over LSU's No. 44 Jordan Daigle in the first round of the NCAA team championship, 6-1, 2-6, 7-5.... Vaulted into the national top 30 in doubles with David Warren to become the Owls first NCAA doubles qualifiers since 2008... 17-5 overall in doubles, 8-2 with Warren... Named C-USA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week on February 2 for his match-clinching victory over LSU's 78th ranked Justin Butsch to give the Owls a 4-3 win over No. 30 LSU... Teamed with Warren to win consecutive doubles matches vs. teams ranked 41st, 24th and 17th in consecutive matches. Fall: Enjoyed a return to action by posting a 3-3 mark in singles and a 7-3 mark (with Jamie Malik) in doubles, which was the Owls top winning percentage in fall doubles. ... Advanced to the round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional in singles before falling in three sets to #35 Shane Vinsant of Texas A&M... Advanced through the first two rounds of the ITA All-American with Malik before falling in the Round of 64.
Elected to take a redshirt year after missing the fall season while continuing to rehab an injury that cut short his sophomore season.
Spring: Earned second team All-Conference USA honors after posting an 8-6 mark in singles in the spring... Moved into the No. 1 slot in the rotation and was 4-4 in his last eight matches... Did not compete at the C-USA Championship because of an injury... Picked up his first career win over a top 50 opponent when he downed Malte Stropp of Mississippi State in three sets... Fall: Finished the fall 3-2 in singles... Earned a wild card entry into the main draw of the USTA Futures event at Jake Hess and advanced to the round of 16... Raced past Hudson Blake of TCU, 6-2, 6-0 at the Texas ITA Regional, then lost to George Goldhoff of Texas, 6-4; 6-2... Advanced to the third round of the prequalifying bracket at the ITA All American in Tulsa before losing to Tyler Pham of UC Irvine in three sets.
Spring: Led the Owls with a 14-7 record in singles (6-3 at 3, 7-3 at 4) and teamed with fellow freshman Adam Gustafsson for a 6-12 mark in doubles, the bulk of which came while playing on the stadium court at Jake Hess (3-10)... Won eight of his last ten decisions, the last of which was a three-set, come from behind win over Tulane's Joe Young to clinch a 4-3 upset win at the C-USA Championship and move the Owls on to the semifinals... Was 4-2 in three set matches, with on other not finished... Moved into the #1 doubles spot with Gustafsson when the Owls traveled to Texas A&M in February... Faced a pair of top 70 doubles teams and lost to both by 8-6 scores... Fall: Posted a 4-2 record in singles and a 4-3 mark in doubles in the fall... Reached the finals of the B Flight singles of the Rice Fall Invitational where he was to have faced fellow freshman Adam Gustafsson, but match was cancelled... Won a pair of matches at the ITA Texas Regional in singles before falling in the round of 32... Teamed with Gustafsson to reach the consolation finals of the ITA Texas Regional... Reached the semis with Gustafsson at the Rice Fall Invitational.
Led Reed's School to the U18 National Schools' Champions ... Played in the Junior Championships at Wimbledon... Reached the semifinals of back to back AEGON Junior International events at Nottingham...Ranked as high as 22 in the British ITA junior rankings in his age group and reached 59th overall in Great Britain in the ITA men's rankings.
