Spring: Finished his senior year with a 12-8 mark in singles, primarily at No. 3… Twice named C-USA Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week, first after sweeping all three singles matches at C-USA Showcase and then after a 6-2, 6-3 win over No. 54 Guillermo Nuñez of TCU… Teamed with Jamie Malik to be named Most Outstanding Doubles of the C-USA Championship after the pair delivered three standout doubles performances to spark the Owls in each round of the C-USA Championship… Dropped only four games over three matches, including a 6-0 win in the title match to finish first… Top doubles win w/Malik was a 7-6 (12) win over Texas Tech’s #57 Alex Sendegeya/Bjorn Thomson to secure the doubles point in 4-3 win over #9 Tech, Rice’s first win over a top ten opponent since 2006. Fall: Finished fall action with a 5-2 mark in singles and a 6-5 dual record with David Warren... Capped a solid fall by being named the C-USA Male Tennis Athlete of the Month for November... Earned the honor on the strength of a strong singles showing at the ITA Texas Regional Championship held at Rice and a strong run with doubles partner David Warren at the ITA Men's All-American Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma... Reached the semifinals in singles at the Texas Regional, downing the a pair of seeds in the tournament before falling to eventual champion Arthur Rinderknech of Texas A&M... Reached the semis with a gritty 6-7(5), 7-6(6), 6-2 win over seventh seed Jolan Cailleau of Texas Tech, who was ranked 79th nationally in the ITA fall rankings... Gustafsson and Warren earned a spot in the main doubles draw at the All-American after winning three round of qualifying matches, highlighted by a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0(8) win over Wichita State's #42 team of Jocelyn Devilliers and Tin Ostojic... Duo also reached the finals of the USTA Futures event held at Rice with wins over Manuel Sanchez (ranked 331 in the world) and Tigre Hank (ranked 390 in the world).

2014-15 (Junior)
Spring: Finished 12-8 while playing primarily at #4 in the lineup and finished the year by going unbeaten in seven of his last nine matches... Was 2-0 in the C-USA Championship and finished 3-1 overall vs. C-USA opponents... Teamed with Gustavo Gonzalez to lead the team with an 11-7 record in doubles (No. 3)... Duo closed by winning six of last nine as Owls returned to the national rankings... Earned his second career C-USA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week honor after an unbeaten weekend vs. UTA, Lamar and Texas... Fall: Second on the team with eight singles wins in the fall, finishing at 8-5. Reached the semifinals of the A2 singles flight at the Wake Forest Invitational before dropping a 7-5, 7-5 decision to 27th ranked Jason Tahir of Duke. Combined with Max Andrews to reach the A2 doubles final before falling to Wake Forest's top-seeded duo of Maksim Kan and Nicky Kunz, 8-5.

2013-14 (Sophomore)
Spring: Led the team with 11 wins in singles during the spring, playing primarily at No. 3 in the lineup... Was 7-2 in nine matches at the third line... Moved into the second spot for the final six matches, including three at the C-USA Championship... Was 3-3 over those six, including a 1-1 mark at the conference championship... Fall: Finished the fall 0-5 in singles and 2-2 in doubles... Teamed with Tommy Bennett to defeat Kevin Bettendroffer/Ricardo Mayagoita of Texas AaM Corpus Christi at the ITA Texas Regional and advance to meet second-seeded Harrison Adams and Shane Vinsant or Texas AaM.

2012-13 (Freshman)
Fall: Posted a 5-2 record in singles and a 4-3 mark in doubles in his first action with the Owls... Won a pair of matches at the ITA Texas Regional in singles before falling in the round of 32... Teamed with fellow freshman Tommy Bennett to reach the consolation finals of the ITA Texas Regional... Reached the semis with Bennett at the Rice Fall Invitational.

High School/Juniors
Ranked among the to 10 in Sweden for his age group and first in his region... Advanced to the quarters of the 2011 ITF Junior Cup Copenhagen Indoor ... Completed in ITF Futures events and among his wins was a defeat of the 34th ranked ITF junior.
