Rice Travels to Ram Masters Invitational in Colorado
Owls face off against national field in Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Fresh off the season-opening tournament in Mississippi this week, Rice University men's golf travels to Colorado for the Ram Masters Invitational, hosted by Colorado State. The event tees off at Fort Collins Country Club on Monday, Sept. 16 and concludes the following day.
The 15-team field will be participating in a 54-hole tournament on the par 70, 7,121-yard course. Playing in threesomes, the golfers will play 36 holes in a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m. MT on Monday, Sept. 16.
The Owls have not faced any of the other 14 teams yet this season. The field includes: Cal Poly, host Colorado State, Drake, Kansas, Louisville, McNeese State, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Sacramento State, South Dakota State, Weber State, Wichita State and Wyoming.
Rice opened the season with an 11th-place finish at Southern Miss' Sam H. Hall Intercollegiate on Sept. 9-10. Senior Landon Michelson led the Owls in 23rd place with an even-par 213 at the tournament, while newcomers Kevin Reilly and Alex Levy made their Blue and Gray debuts.
