Andrew Reue, Alex Lyons and James Farrimond have been named to Phil Steele’s 2015 Postseason All Conference USA squad which was announced on Thursday. Reue was named to the first team, Lyons to the second team and Farrimond to the third team.
After missing the opener vs. Wagner, Reue started the last 11 games, making starts at right and left guard and right tackle, before taking over as the starter at center for the last seven games. He closed his career by starting in 37 of his 47 career games, including 34 over the last three years.
Lyons, who started all 12 games as a junior will carry a 25-game starting streak into his senior year, led the Owls with a career-high 77 tackles as a junior, including 54 over the last six games. He tied his career high with ten stops vs. Army, including three on consecutive plays to force a late field goal.
Farrimond averaged a career-best 43. 1 yards on 59 punts as a senior and placed a career-high 21 of them inside the 20. He was named the Ray Guy Award national player of the week after averaging 51.2 yards on five punts at UTEP, which was the third best single-game mark in school history. He finished his career ranked second in school history with a career average of 42.4 .
