Senior offensive lineman Andrew Reue, who started at four different positions along the offensive line for the Owls this season, has been named to the 2015 Conference USA All-Conference team in a vote of the league’s head coaches.
Reue was joined on the All C-USA team by senior punter James Farrimond, junior linebacker Alex Lyons and junior wide receiver Zach Wright, who earned honorable mention honors, while four first year players (Justin Bickham, Parker Smith, Samuel Stewart and Austin Walter) where named to the 2015 Conference USA All Freshman team.
After missing the opener vs. Wagner, Reue started the last 11 games, making starts at right and left guard and right tackle, before taking over as the starter at center for the last seven games. He closed his career by starting in 37 of his 47 career games, including 34 over the last three years.
Farrimond averaged a career-best 43. 1 yards on 59 punts as a senior and placed a career-high 21 of them inside the 20. His career average of 42.4 ranks second on school history. Lyons led the Owls with a career-high 77 tackles as a junior, including 54 over the last six games. Wright led the Owls while setting career-highs with 39 catches for 554 yards and five touchdowns.
