CBS College Sports Network has announced that it will televise the conference matchup between Marshall and Rice on Saturday, November 22. Kickoff is now scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CST at Rice Stadium in Houston. The game is one of the 12-day advance selections that CBS College Sports has for Saturday games in November.

This will be the Owls sixth appearance on TV this season and their third time before the CBS Sports cameras. They opened the year by defeating SMU on EPSN, defeated Memphis on CBS College, lost to Texas on Fox Sports Net, blasted North Texas on TXA 21 and fell to Tulsa on CBS College

Marshall is currently 3-2 in Conference USA play and 4-5 overall heading into this Saturday's contest against UCF in Huntington, West Va. The Thundering Herd have one of the most balanced offensive attacks in the league, led by sophomore RB Darius Marshall (741 yards and five touchdowns) and senior WR Darius Passmore (48 catches for 853 yards and five TDs).

Rice will have this Saturday off and will enter the Marshall contest with a 5-1 league record and 7-3 overall mark. The Owls possess the most prolific scoring duo in NCAA history in senior QB Chase Clement and senior WR Jarett Dillard (48 career touchdowns) as well as this year's FBS leader in receptions in versatile sophomore James Casey (85).

Last year's October meeting in Huntington was the first-ever between the teams. Marshall won that game, 34-21, behind 347 yards of total offense from QB Bernard Morris. Chase Clement threw two touchdowns and ran for another for Rice.
