HOUSTON – Fans at Saturday’s 6 p.m. football game against Hawai’I will have a chance to support the fight against breast cancer along with the Rice Owls.

The first 1,000 fans to enter Rice Stadium will receive a pink Rice Owls t-shirt, while the first 1,500 fans to arrive will be a part of the Rice Water Bottle Giveaway courtesy of Houston Methodist, the game’s sponsor.

On the east and west concourses at the 50-yard line, fan information kiosks will sell pink honor ribbons as well as pink breast cancer awareness towels, with proceeds from each benefitting Susan G. Komen Houston.

Additionally, a portion of the game’s ticket proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer Awareness and Susan G. Komen Houston.

On the field, Rice will honor groups of breast cancer survivors in attendance during the game.
