CUSA TV Makes Rice Stadium Debut on Saturday
First of two home games on new service

Live video coverage of Rice Football will enter a new phase on Saturday when the Owls game against North Texas is streamed live on CUSA TV by OwlVision.
Saturday's stream will be the first step in a process that will build towards the Owls becoming a content provider for the ESPN3 platform for the final two home games of the year against FAU (November 5) and UTEP (November 19).
This is the first year of a contract between Conference USA and ESPN to provide content on their Watch ESPN platform. Installation of a new Daktronics video board and the state-of-the-art control room as part of the Brian Patterson Sports Performance Center project created the ability for the Owls to produce HD content that is compliant with ESPN3's broadcast standards for the first time.
Saturday's game will consist of the video feed from the scoreboard with play-by-play provided by the Rice IMG radio feed. The second game (vs. Prairie View on October 22) will expand the offering's capabilities further, leading to a full rollout of the ESPN3 production on November 5.
Launched in August, CUSA TV brings together the live streaming content from all 14 members in one subscription offering. It allows fans to stream live and on-demand sporting events, as well as feature programming, without the need of a cable or satellite service. Subscribers can access CUSA TV on all computers and mobile devices with an Internet connection.
Subscriptions to the CUSA TV are available in both seasonal ($99.95) and monthly ($10.95) packages in addition to a new 24-hour pass for $6.95. Each option allows fans access to all content available on the CUSA.tv viewing menu.
