The shows will each take an inside look at the Owls as the team competes for a Conference USA championship in 2013 with head coach David Bailiff.
Both shows are set to re-air numerous times throughout the week. The first episode of "The David Bailiff Show" will re-air at the following times: Thursday at noon and 3 p.m. as well as Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Shows are not scheduled for the Owls bye week, but are slated to return on Tuesday, Sept. 10 and Wednesday, Sept. 11.
Comcast SportsNet Houston (CSN) is a partnership between the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets and the NBC Sports Group. The network will air more than 50 college football games this fall, including the Oct. 26 game against UTEP.
Beginning last season, CSN Houston has run numerous coaches shows, as well as preview and highlight shows including each of Rice's 16 varsity programs.
Rice opens the 2013 campaign on Saturday at Texas A&M. ESPN will provide national coverage of the noon contest against the No. 7 (AP) Aggies.
