HOUSTON -- Rice football fans are invited to the first of 12 Extra Point Club Dinners to be held on Mondays during the 2006 season at the R Room at 6 pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to join head coach Todd Graham and his assistant coaches for a preview of the Owls' season opener against Houston on Saturday at 8 pm.

On the agenda for tonight's inaugural dinner, fans will be introduced to coach Graham and new Rice athletics director Chris DelConte. Coach Graham will also introduce his coaching staff as well as some of his players. After discussing the upcoming battle with the Cougars, coach Graham will answer questions from attendees.

In addition to opportunities to meet the coaches and players, door prizes including autographed football memorabilia will be available. Football fans will also have the opportunity to bid for a pair of sideline passes for the Houston game.

Dinner cost for Extra Point Club members is $180 for all 12 paid in advance or $20 each at the door with an RSVP. Non-members are also invited to join the festivities.
